Many times, when faced with first sorting your stamps into categories to make them easier to find, we get confused, or try to make limiting categories. Here is a list of categories (and sub-categories) that may help. In my own case, unless I have more than 5-10 of a stamp that fits into a subcategory, I will leave it in a main category. For instance, I have a "people" category, but I also have a "woman" category because I have so many women stamps.
