What are Artist Trading Cards (ATC)?

Last Updated 10/14/09

Artist Trading Cards are miniature works of art created on 2 1/2" x 3 1/2" (64mm x 89mm) card stock (the same size as a baseball card). This way they can be easily mailed and collected in a sport card collector's album. They can be an original, a series or a numbered edition but most importantly, they must be self-produced. The cards are created for exchange only; they are not to be sold.

No matter what your specialty is, anything goes. Painting, pen and ink, embroidering, drawing, quilting, collage, digital art, photography, wood block prints, etc. so be as creative as you want to be.

Guidlines

Cards must be your own work. Cards should be signed by the artist on either the front or back. The date, edition number (if required) should be placed on the back of the card. You may also add contact information as well, such as an email address or website. The size of the cards must be 2 1/2" x 3 1/2" (64mm x 89mm). They can be portrait (vertical) or landscape (horizontal). Most importantly, HAVE FUN but be forewarned it is an addictive hobby!
