Mixing Microbeads

Last Updated 10/14/09

Ever tried getting a little crazy and MIXING different colors of micro beads together?? Oh my! I have and it is so much FUN! All you need is some beads, a small scoop or spoon for measuring, some baggies and a little imagination then -- Look out World!

Try Rose Opaque and Red Opaque together for a lovely Valentine mix in your shaker cards! You could even put Light Green Opaque and Rose Opaque together to create a Victorian Valentine - Try accenting it with silver and see what you think!

For "Mardi Gras" mix, take equal parts of Plum Opaque, Fuchsia Opaque and True Green Opaque - this combination will knock you socks off!

Planning for Saint Patrick's Day yet? Try True Green Opaque, Silver Opaque and Light Green Opaque together for "Sparkling Shamrocks"!

The great thing about mixing your own color combinations is that you have the freedom to make as little or as much as you want AND to adjust the recipe to please your eye! I always like to put a little extra gold in my Tortoise Shell mix - it just makes it "POP"! (Back Opaque, Gold Opaque and Brown Translucent)

With 20 colors plus clear to choose from you can sure mix up a lot of fun!!

Penny Wise Arts is the place to go for your entire micro bead needs - you'll love our prices and service! http://www.pennywisearts.com
